Verification

Verification standard

What a Veridose verification does, and what it does not do.

Prepared for legal review. Verified by Veridose means a specific claim was reviewed under the documented process for that verification type. It does not mean diagnosis, treatment endorsement, legal entitlement or a guarantee of future status.

What verified means

A verification confirms that the stated claim or supporting evidence was reviewed using the relevant Veridose process.

The outcome applies only to the defined verification type and version, not to every possible claim about the person or record.

What it does not mean

  • Clinical endorsement
  • Medical advice
  • Diagnosis
  • Treatment suitability
  • Legal entitlement
  • Authenticity beyond the verification method used
  • A guarantee against later expiry or revocation

Evidence and scope

Evidence is more sensitive than the verification outcome and should not be disclosed simply because a status exists.

The user or subject should be able to share only the minimum scope needed for the recipient's purpose.
